What is the Willcraft Foundation?
The Willcraft Foundation is the charitable arm of Willcraft Will Writing Services. We seek to eradicate poverty in the local community and, through our partnership with HUB (Humanity Unites Brilliance) on a global basis too.
What are the aims of the Willcraft Foundation?
Originally set up by the Managing Director and Founder of Willcraft, Colin Chapman, the Willcraft Foundation aims to contribute to local and global communities in a variety of ways including;
i) Supporting local charities and organisations that specifically impact the local community ranging from pre school nurseries to day centres.
ii) Delivering food hampers to families in need at times like Christmas.
iii) Providing FREE legal advice to those who are not in a position to employ the services of a solicitor or lawyer. This service is provided via email in order to keep costs to a minimum and our Team will endeavour to respond to any question or enquiry within 24 hours.
iv) Our long term aim is to develop workshops to specifically assist the 12-17 year age group to learn inter personal and 'life' skills that will enable them to make a smooth transition from schooling to the workplace. The Foundation's aim is to set up a 'Life Academy' which in addition to one day workshops will provide weekend courses too.
v) In addition to the above the Foundation aims to help people who are looking for a career in the legal services industry by offering apprenticeships and workplace experiences.
How does the Willcraft Foundation raise money to do this?
The Willcraft Foundation is a non-profit organisation and is totally dependent on contributions from donators. Willcraft Services donates a % of it's turnover to the Foundation for distribution as stated above. The Foundation also organises sporting and other 'fun' events to raise money and also aims to forge strong links with other businesses that are committed to contributing to the community.
100% of money received by the Willcraft Foundation goes to the projects it supports
What does the Willcraft Foundation do with the money?
The money raised by the Willcraft Foundation has been used to support a variety of organisations such as, The National Childrens Homes/Action for Children various initiatives, Parent Carers Associations, Cancer charities, Sports Trusts and clubs and the delivery of food hampers to needy families.
